Macho Nachos
This is a recipe that can be added to or changed by adding chicken instead of beef. This is quick to make and tastes great. I have used all kinds of salsas when making this and also all kinds of cheeses. It's just so versatile and yet so yummy. I got this recipe from my step-mom, Jeanne. She is an amazing cook.
- 1 pound hamburger (browned with onion, salt & pepper)
- 2 cans refried beans
- 1 4oz. can green chilies
- 1 7oz. bottle green chili salsa ((or whatever you prefer))
- 3 cups grated cheddar and monterey jack cheese ((or your choice))
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup olives, sliced
- 1 package corn chips
- other toppings, tomatoes, lettuce, guacamole, etc.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Layer first 5 ingredients in a 9X13 inch greased pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Top with sour cream and sliced olive, etc. Serve with chips. Enjoy!
