Hawaiian Grilled Chicken
This recipe is one of my most favorites. Heather made this for us and I was hooked. We combined this with our Kalua Pork as part of our Hawaiian plate and it was perfect. Hope you enjoy the flavors. I love it with the fresh ginger. Yum!
- 1-1/2 pounds chicken thighs or chicken breasts
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 4 teaspoon garlic (minced)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (or use 1 teaspoon fresh ginger)
Combine all ingredients into a large bowl. Mix well. Marinade chicken for 4 hours or longer. Remove from marinade and grill. Serve with rice or other desired side dish.
