Taco Seasoning Mix
This is another one of those mixes that is great to have on hand. You can use this with chicken and beef. Tacos are a perfect food. Everyone loves Taco Tuesday! Enjoy!
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 4 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons oregano
Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.
3 Tablespoons equals one packet
To make taco meat: brown one pound meat with onion, salt and pepper. Combine 3 Tablespoons of mix with 3/4 cup water. Pour over meat. Simmer until majority of liquid is gone.
