Frozen Pineapple Dream Whips
Here's another recipe from our annual luau. Pineapple and Hawaii go together. Enjoy this simple and tasty recipe from Six Sisters.
- 1 pound bag of frozen pineapple chunks
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 12 ounces pineapple juice
Allow pineapple to thaw slightly before starting. Puree slightly thawed pineapple in a blender. Add the ice cream, lime juice, lemon juice and half the pineapple juice. Blend together until smooth and well blended. Freeze the mixture for about 2 hours before serving. Scoop into glasses or bowls and pour the remaining pineapple juice over each one. Makes about 3 servings.
