Easy Chicken Gravy Mix
I usually use my meat drippings to make my gravies, but sometimes you just need something quick and simple to make for dinner. Everyone loves mashed potatoes and gravy. When I am in a crunch, I make some instant potatoes and gravy with some canned chicken or leftover meat. My family loves it and everyone is happy. This is great to have on hand. Enjoy!
- 1-2/3 cup cornstarch
- 6 Tablespoons granulated chicken bouillon
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Mix all ingredients together. Store in airtight container.
To make gravy: add 3 Tablespoons of mix to 1 1/2 cups cold water in saucepan. Bring to a light boil, stirring constantly. Simmer for a 1 minute until thickened. Enjoy!
Mixture makes 33 Tablespoons……or 11 batches of gravy.
