Buttermilk Ranch Seasoning Mix
I don't usually make my salad dressing from a mix. I use Ranch seasoning mix for a lot of my other foods as a spice (https://keepingupwiththekings.com/2019/02/14/chickennuggetswithchicfilasauce/). I was tired of spending so much money on those packets. This is super easy to make and wonderful to have on hand. You can use it in main dishes, dressings and dips. Enjoy!
- 1-1/2 cup dry buttermilk (look in baking section of store)
- 1/3 cup dried parsley
- 1 Tablespoon dried dill weed
- 1 Tablespoon dried chives
- 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 Tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Run buttermilk powder through a sifter to get out lumps. Combine all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.
3 Tablespoons equals 1 packet of Hidden Valley Dressing mix
To Make Dressing: Add 3 Tablespoons of mix with 1 cup whole milk and 1 cup mayo. Blend together.
To Make Dip: Add 3 Tablespoons of mix with 1 16oz. container of sour cream
