I love this dip for all parties. This is one I made for Halloween years ago. To make the web, I used sour cream and olives for the spiders.
Course Dips, Dressings, Sauces & Gravies
Ingredients
1canbean dip
1/2cupmayonnaise
1/2packagetaco seasoning
1pintsour cream
3whole avocadospeeled, pitted and mashed
3Tablespoonslemon juice
3green onions
3tomatoeschopped
1canpitted olivesdrained and sliced, including making spiders
1cupshredded cheeseyour favorite blend for mexican food
sour cream for web
shredded lettuce if desired
1bagtortilla chips
Instructions
1st Layer
Combine bean dip, mayo, sour cream and taco mix. Mix and spread on large round plate or dish.
2nd Layer
Combine peeled avocados, lemon juice and green onions in a blender. Blend until smooth. Smooth over first layer.
3rd Layer
Sprinkle chopped tomatoes, olives and grated cheese over 2nd layer. If desired, you may also want to include shredded lettuce or any of your other favorite toppings.
When I made this for Halloween, I just spooned some sour cream into a sandwich bag. Then, I cut off the corner and piped it onto the dip. If I were to make this again, I would use a piping bag with a smaller tip. I would also make my spiders thinner. Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
