This cornbread is almost like eating cake. It is so moist and light. Tastes amazing with honey/butter. I have made this with Splenda at times and it turns out fantastic.
Ingredients
3cupsBisquick or baking mix
3wholeeggs
3/4teaspoonbaking powder
1/2cupmargarine, softened
1/2cupcornmeal
1/2teaspoonsalt
1-1/2cupmilk
3/4cup sugar or splenda
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350*. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until well incorporated. The batter will be slightly lumpy. This is from the butter and will melt in. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Serve with honey butter.
