This is a warm and hearty comfort dessert. Can also be made with canned apple filling to make it even easier. I like to double my topping. Recipe shown has been made with double topping.

Ingredients
4cupsapples, sliced or diced
1/2cup brown sugar
1/2teaspooncinnamon
2Tablespoonmelted butter or margarine
Topping
1/2cupbrown sugar
1/2cup quick oatmeal
1/8teaspoonsoda
1/8teaspoonbaking powder
1/8teaspoonsalt
1/4cup butter
1/2cupflour
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350*. Mix apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter together. Line 9x13 baking dish sprayed with non-stick spray with mixture. Mix topping ingredients together until a crumb type mixture is created. Sprinkle over top of apple mixture, evenly. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot with ice cream and caramel topping.
