Ingredients

  • 1 12 ounce box Rice Chex
  • 1 11.7 ounce box Golden Grahams
  • 4 cups coconut
  • 8 ounce sliced almonds
  • 2 cups corn syrup
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla

  • In a large bowl, combine Rice Chex, Golden Grahams, coconut, and sliced almonds. Set aside.
    In a medium saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Once boiling, continue to boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
    Pour the hot syrup mixture over the cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated.
    Spread mixture onto a greased baking sheet and allow to cool completely.
    Once cooled, break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
