BBQ Bacon Ranch Chicken

BBQ Ranch Bacon Chicken
Ingredients
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 small bottle of barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 3 green onions diced
- 1/2 cup bacon bits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.Spread a thin layer of barbecue sauce over the bottom of the pan.Arrange chicken breasts in the dish in a single layer.Spoon about 1 tablespoon ranch dressing over each piece of chicken and spread evenly.Pour remaining barbecue sauce over the chicken.Cover and bake for about 40 minutes, or until chicken is nearly cooked through.Remove from oven and top with shredded cheese, green onions, and bacon bits.Return to oven uncovered and bake 10 more minutes, or until cheese is melted and chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature.Rest briefly before serving.
Notes
- Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for a juicier result.For extra flavor, use a smoky or honey barbecue sauce.Cooked, crumbled bacon may be used instead of packaged bacon bits.Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
