Easy Layered Boston Cream Pie Dessert
This was a great little dessert to make with my grandkids. This is super simple and one they can put together with just a little help. Tastes great too!
- 15 whole graham crackers
- 3 cups milk
- 2 small pkgs. vanilla pudding
- 1 16oz. container of whipped topping
- 1 container premade chocolate frosting
Break graham crackers in half to form a square. Arrange 10 squares on bottom of 8-inch square pan, overlapping slightly. Set aside. Prepare pudding mixture with milk. Let sit for about 5 minutes and then stir in whipped topping.
Spread 1/2 of pudding mixture over graham crackers. (I actually put mine in a frosting bag and piped it on so it would go evenly without snagging crackers). Create another layer of graham crackers. Pour remaining pudding mixture over crackers. Create final layer of graham crackers. (I crushed my crackers on this layer and sprinkled it on top).
Refrigerate for about 3 hours. Take off aluminum covering from frosting. Make sure you get it all off. Place in microwave for about 30 minutes or until slightly runny. Pour over eclair cake. Put back in fridge to let set a bit. Serve.
