Heather's Chocolate Chip Cookies #1
I love all kinds of chocolate chip cookies. Heather introduced to two new recipes. Here's her first. I love them both. The secret to this is to make sure you let it finish cooking on the pan after taking it out of the oven. This recipe yields about 50 cookies. Enjoy!
- 1-1/2 cups butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 whole eggs
- 1-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 4-1/2 cups flour
- 1 11.5oz. package chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350*. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs. Mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix until well incorporated. Spoon onto greased cookie sheets with cookie scoop, leaving room for cookies to expand. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Cookies will look slightly undercooked. Leave cookies on cooking sheet while cooling for 30 minutes. The allows cookies to finish cooking. Yum! Enjoy! Makes about 50 cookies.
