Homemade Meatballs with two sauces

This is a great meatball recipe.  I have used other sauces, like BBQ.  I love to serve this for things like New Year’s parties or Super Bowl.  It’s a definite favorite.

  • 2 pounds hamburger
  • 1 cup quick rolled oats
  • 2 whole eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1-1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Meatball Sauce

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 teaspoon worcesershire sauce
  1. Preheat oven to 350*.  Mix all meatball ingredients together well.  Make 2″ balls and line large casserole dish.  Cover with desired sauce and bake for 45 minutes or until meatballs are 165*.  You can keep this warm in crockpot until serving.
