1/3cupbuttermelted
1teaspoonminced garlic
3/4cupshredded mozzarella
1/2cup shredded parmesan cheese, divided

Lightly flour a work surface. Fold the thawed bread dough in half, then roll into a 12-inch square.In a small bowl, stir together melted butter and minced garlic. Spread evenly over the dough.Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and ¼ cup of the parmesan evenly over the surface. Fold the dough in half again.Cut the dough into 1-inch-wide strips. Twist each strip 2–3 times, pinching the ends to seal.Arrange breadsticks about 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Cover loosely and let rise for 20 minutes.Preheat oven to 375°F. Sprinkle breadsticks with remaining parmesan cheese.Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm with marinara sauce or as a side dish.
Notes
