I almost forgot about these. When we were first married, we lived on these. We were so poor and had so many meals of deer meat, potatoes, corn and wheat (we ground our own). We ate so many of these that I grew tired of them. It's been years since I baked them. So, I found this recipe again and mixed some up. These are so yummy with butter and peach jam. We love these and I am definitely going to go back to making these more frequently again. I got this recipe from my mother in law, Diane. Enjoy!
