A quick and flavorful chili made with ground beef, ranch-style beans, tomato sauce, and a touch of honey BBQ sauce. Easy to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser.

3(15 ounce) cans Ranch Style Beans (black label)I have also used western beans and it works out great.
2(8 ounce) canstomato sauce
1(15 ounce) can full of water (from the bean can)
1/2cuphoney bbq sauce (or as desired)
1Tablespoonchili powder

In a large pot, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.Add the ranch-style beans, tomato sauce, water, honey BBQ sauce, and chili powder. Stir to combine.Bring to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve warm with shredded cheese, cornbread, or your favorite toppings.
Notes
This chili is easy to adjust — add more chili powder for extra heat or a splash of BBQ sauce for more sweetness.Ranch-style beans give this chili great flavor, but western-style beans also work well.Leftovers reheat beautifully and taste even better the next day.
