Line muffin pans with paper liners or lightly grease.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.Add melted butter, eggs, milk, and pumpkin purée. Mix until just combined.Fold in chocolate chips, raisins, or nuts if using.Using a 2½-tablespoon scoop, divide batter evenly among muffin cups.Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.Allow muffins to cool slightly before removing from pan.
Notes
