There aren't a whole lot of peanut butter cookies out there that I love. I always hated the dry texture that usually came with them. This recipe is soft and moist. I love to eat all around the kiss and save that bite for last. Syd makes the best treats. You'll love these!
Ingredients
1cupbutter or margarine, softened
1cuppeanut butter
1cup sugar
1cupbrown sugar
2whole eggs
3-1/2cups flour
2teaspoon baking soda
1teaspoonsalt
2teaspoonvanilla
1bagHershey kisses (need about 35)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375*. Cream butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Using a cookie scoop as a measure, make balls and roll. Then, roll balls in sugar. You can flatten them a bit if you like. Bake for 8 minutes.
Take pan out of oven and press a kiss in the center. Put back in oven for 1 minute. Take out and let cool. Keep in airtight container.
