These are so simple to make. Normally I like to use my own bread recipe, but using frozen bread dough works just fine. I love the flavor of both cheeses. I forgot to sprinkle the cheese on the outside of my breadsticks this time, but they are still amazing. Tonight, my grand daughter, Kamrie, came to help me with dinner. We served these with homemade spaghetti. Perfect meal!! Enjoy! :)
Ingredients
1loaffrozen bread dough, thawed
1/3cupbutter, melted
1teaspoonminced garlic
3/4cupshredded mozzarella

Take loaf of dough and fold it in half. On a lightly floured surface, roll out your dough into about a 12" square. Mix the butter and garlic together. Spread over the dough. Then, sprinkle with mozzarella and 1/4 cup of the parmesan. Fold dough in half. Cut into strips about 1" wide. Twist each of the strip about 2 or 3 times, making sure to seal at the ends.
Place about 2" apart on a greased baking sheet. Let dough rise for about 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 375*. Sprinkle breadsticks with remaining parmesan. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. May serve with marinara or as a side dish.
