This is such a simple and versatile recipe to make that I almost didn't include it in my recipes, but knew my kids would want this. There is nothing like a little homemade chicken soup when you are sick or just wanting some comfort food. Enjoy!

Ingredients
2-48ozcontainerschicken broth
5wholecarrotspeeled and sliced
2cupspotatoespeeled and diced
1wholegreen pepperminced
5stalkscelerywashed and sliced
1cupcooked chicken or turkeycan use canned chicken if desired
1teaspoonitalian seasoning
1/4cupdry minced onionor use fresh if desired
1pkgdry egg noodlesor frozen
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine all ingredients, except noodles and meat. Bring to a boil. Boil until vegetables are soft and tender. Add meat and noodles and boil until noodles are done. That's about it. Super simple.
You may also want to add other vegetables or rice. My daughter, Haley, has taken broccoli and minced it before adding, to try and sneak a little more vege in her soup without kids noticing. :)
