I have tried many banana bread recipes, but always come back to this one. I have been making this one for years. This is best if you let it sit for a day in sealed bag or container.

Ingredients
3bananas, mashed (or one cup)
1/2cupshortening
2wholeeggs
2cups flour
1/2teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonsoda
1 cupsugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350*. Spray loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for about 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remember: let cool and then cover. Best served the following day.
