Layered Triple Berry Frozen Dessert
Layers of yummy frozen goodness!! I love the combination of the ice cream sandwiches, whip cream, triple berries and ice cream. This dessert makes it look like you spent a lot of time putting it together. Here's another recipe from my sister in law, Angie. Super easy and refreshing. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 12-14 ice cream sandwiches
- 1 quart sorbet or icecream, softened I used strawberry ice cream
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup blackberries or strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
Instructions
- In a 9X13 inch dish, place ice cream sandwiches in the bottom. You may have to cut a few to make them all fit in nice and snug. Spread the sorbet or ice cream over the top. Beat the whip cream, sour cream and powdered sugar until it thickens. Spread over top of sorbet or ice cream. Garnish with fruit. Place in freezer until ready to serve. Remove from freezer about 10 minutes before serving. Cut into squares and enjoy!
