I have been looking for this recipe forever and I didn't even know it was right under my nose. This recipe is from my daughter, McKinzie. I love the cranberries, bacon and sesame seeds. It's a perfect flavor. :)
Ingredients
1poundbroccoli slaw or cut up your own in bite sized pieces
1cupcooked bacon pieces(or 1 pound cooked and chopped up)
1smallred onion, finely diced
1/2cupdried cranberries, diced
3/4cuproasted sunflower kernels
1cupmayonnaise(can use light if desired)
1/2cup sugar(can use sweetner substitute if desired)
2teaspoonwhite vinegar
Instructions
In a large bowl, toss broccoli with bacon, onion, cranberries and sunflower kernels. Set aside. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar together. Pour over salad mixture and stir. Refrigerate until needed. Great for barbecues and picnics.
