Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

This is like eating a brownie in a cookie. Carol Hansen, my friend and daughter's mother-in-law, also sent me this recipe and pic. She is an amazing cook. I am just dying to get my hands on her recipe book.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for coating the cookies

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together, except powdered sugar, to form a soft dough. Roll 1" balls of dough and roll in powdered sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Yum!
