This spring cocktail punch is a light, refreshing drink made with grapefruit, lemon, and cherries, prepared ahead and finished with lemon-lime soda just before serving. It’s bright, citrusy, and perfect for showers, brunches, and spring gatherings.

Ingredients
- 3 cups grapefruit sections drained if using bottled
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 (3 ounce) bottle maraschino cherries
To Serve
- 1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime soda
Instructions
- Add the grapefruit sections, sugar, lemon juice, and maraschino cherries to a blender.Blend until smooth.Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container or ice cube molds. Cover tightly and freeze overnight.When ready to serve, break the frozen mixture into chunks and place in a punch bowl.Pour lemon-lime soda over the frozen mixture just before serving and stir gently.

- Freezing the mixture ahead of time helps keep the punch cold without watering it down.Adjust the amount of soda added depending on how strong or slushy you prefer the punch.This punch is best served immediately after adding the soda.
