About Haley

Hi! My name is Haley, and I am the lucky middle child in this family. I have been married for four years to my best friend, Zach, that I have known for the majority of my life. We started dating when we officially met through a mutual friend. Since day one I have known that he was going to be my forever. We were married a year and a half later. We currently don’t have any children, but plan on them when we are done with our education. I am going to school to be a Registered Nurse and graduate in April 2020! My husband works his butt off and is going to aviation school to be an airline pilot. We have a lot on our plates!

Growing up in a large family it was a fight to spend one on one time with mom, but I made it my time while she was cooking. Everything I have learned from cooking and being a homemaker came from me watching and helping her. I enjoy trying new recipes and new foods! But if I were to be honest, I am sucker for some homemade chocolate chip cookies! I could eat them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and any snack in-between.

When I am not as busy with school and other responsibilities, I enjoy going to Disneyland so much. I somehow convinced my husband to love it just as much as I do and we try to go as often as we can. I am truly a child at heart and love anything that brings happiness to people. I am an avid Harry Potter fan and anyone in my family will tell you how much a HP geek I am. But if I am really being honest, I love to binge watch TV Series in my free time, and sometimes when I don’t really have free time.

I can’t wait to put my own twists on some family favorite recipes, and to learn from our readers on ways that we can improve!
