Soft & Chewy Snickerdoodles

I'm gonna be straight up with you–I used to hate snickerdoodles before I tasted these. I hated how crunchy they were and the sugar on the outside. It wasn't until McKinzie made these that I fell in love. I love how soft and chewy these are. I love the absolute perfection of cinnamon and sugar. Enjoy!

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

  • 3 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Mix. Add in milk, vanilla, flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Using a cookie scoop, scoop out cookie dough. Roll into balls. Roll balls in cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Allow to cool on pan. Enjoy!
